I had this issue. I spoke with Garmin and they directed me to the latest beta software (19.75) which they said would solve the problem. Since switching to the beta the problem appears to have went away. Battery draw is now around a third of what it was beforehand (it went from almost .3%/hour to around .1%/hour). 7.
Similar. Since last week and after 1 year my Fenix 6X Pro is suddenly draining around 20% every 24 hours, without having change the settings (before it would last 2 weeks, even doing lots of activities.) Even when disconnecting the Bluetooth the drain remains the same. No extra apps installed, basic watch face, even without seconds.
I usually charge the watch every saturday and there is around 20-25% battery left. I've upgraded to 8.37 last week and I noticed that the battery was draining really fast : I was at 15% friday morning so I charged the watch to 25% before going out for my running session (and restarted it). At then end of day it was at about 15% and this morning
Running out of battery fast. I have a garmin vivoactive 4 and it was running for 3 days on gps when I got it. I turned off gps and turned off Bluetooth and charged it to 100 % and now it keeps draining super fast. I charged it to 100 and I woke up and it was at 58. Yesterday I charged it to 100 and then it lasted a night and 6 hours before dying.
EDIT 2: After 95% it returned into the quicker drain. I will give it one more charging cycle. if that doesn’t help I will return it. EDIT 3: After chatting with the Garmin support I uninstalled the Battery Widget (of course they want to rule that out) and did a hard reset. The first and second days seemed great (5.6% a day without GPS).
Battery Drain After Update. Garmin has fixed this issue by releasing version 14.36. After updating my Fenix 7 to the latest software version (14.31) a couple of days ago, the battery started to drain exceptionally quickly. Just using it normally for around 5 hours, the battery indicator on my watch dropped from 17 days to 15 days.
