But the breathless, headlong rush of biblically based events in “Jesus Christ Superstar” — whose latest touring version just Was this the production where Jesus has an acoustic guitar that he doesn’t really play? I love Jesus Christ superstar, but I’m pretty sure I saw this production in Feb 2020 and was thoroughly unimpressed by it. Also pretty sure Ivo Van Hove doesn’t have anything to do with this production, his superstar is happening next year in Amsterdam vK3zz.
